If you want to change, if you want to anticipate or prepare for the future, where are you without (reliable) #data?
Data is at the heart of all the changes we are going to go through in the near future. The energy transition cannot be orderly without good data. The housing crisis and the nitrogen crisis cannot be properly addressed without good data.
If your business strategy does NOT have data at its heart, then you are gut-wrenching your business at risk.
Data is also not a one-time thing. Continuous supply of data, processing and analysis is at the heart of every business, no matter how small or large. Which customers haven’t paid yet, how is the average delivery time of suppliers evolving, where do you get the most sales, where are the margins the best. This is no longer a competitive advantage, this is now the basis for all of us and on top of that you want to innovate and you need data for that too.
And of course you need to manage this data, not as good as possible, but as good as necessary: data management aligned with business strategy and needs. Good enough and not too good, because then you run the risk of not being agile anymore.
